I have been very curious to try covering cupcakes with a smooth fondant icing, rather than piping on the usual butter cream swirly effect... this was my first attempt.

As this is my first and ONLY attempt, I am not sure if I found it easy because I got lucky, or if indeed it IS easy?!
I am planning to make some more and would love to use a 'Moulin Rouge' theme... I will post piccies if I manage to pull it off! Watch this space!
